I'm on a blogging roll.....First day of Mother's Day Out

Emmie Grace goes to a MDO program 2 days a week. It's great for her and for me (one day to really clean the house and another day to play). The first day was a little hard with her crying at first, but now she has adjusted well. Still a few tears when I drop her off, but they are quickly gone. She loves both her teachers and smiles really big when I talk to her about them. Also, Dave was such a sweet Daddy and went to drop her off that first day.

EG is walking:)

About a month ago our sweet baby girl started walking and after many falls she is finally getting the hang of it. Who knew just one year would bring about so much change. It's wonderful to experience all the new exciting things with Emmie Grace and crazy at the same time to realize how fast she is growing up. We love her more than she'll ever know.

What I thougt EG's room would always look like

Funny!!!!!! Before I had our sweet baby girl, I was delusional and thought her room would always be clean, with NO PLASTIC toys in it (only wood). Boy was I wrong, now our precious 14 month old has a primary colored puzzle mat and plays with several different plastic toys (and chews on a few of them). Oh...and the nice rug is dirty from our weim, Rainer, rolling all over it.

Has it really been 4 months

Wow......time really does fly. Emmie Grace has changed so much since the last time I posted. She's now 13 months old, cruising (not walking), crawling everywhere, eating all kinds of different foods, and continually making us laugh all the time. I can truly say that she is such a joy and a blessing for me and Dave. Some highlights from our summer......Trips to the beach with both sets of grandparents, going to the zoo, girls swim time, mommy and daddy doing triathlons, walking to the park, loving on "Ra Ra", celebrating a 1st birthday and Daddy's 30Th birthday and spending time with friends and family. If only I could post pictures as fast as I type.....I would be a much better blogger. Oh well, here's a few until I get more up.

One week after the snow

Crazy southern weather!!! This was just six days after the snow. EG played on the swing and slide for the first time. I love seeing how happy she is when she's introduced to something new and exciting!!!

1st Snow.....Two months ago

OK...I'm little behind on posting!!!!! EG had so much FUN when we had snow....forever ago. The funniest part was when she did a face plant into the snow. We are having the best time with our baby girl. It's crazy how fast she is growing up.

Winter Pics

Emmie Grace is now 7 months old.....it's so hard to believe! She has been sitting up for 2 months now, it seems she'll be crawling in no time. Oh boy!!!! We just love being her mom and dad. I couldn't have asked for a better job.

1st Christmas

A little late!!! Emmie Grace had so much FUN her 1st Christmas. She got to be with all the family and friends that love her so much. Santa and Grandsanta's were very generous!
